I was listening to the radio (klove) the other day and heard this song by Chris Rice-Untitled Hymn (Come To Jesus) from the album Run The Earth...Watch The Sky...time stopped and before I knew it I was crying right there in the car.
I've really gotten into contemporary gospel lately and find myself only listening to klove and/or classical. Maybe I'm going through a phase--not sure :) I used to think they were all cheesy, but they've got everything on there from rap, to contempo, to mushy. But they're always positive and, I think, invoke the Spirit--which we can all use more of, right? For the most part, I come away from listening with greater hope and a feeling of peace....try it sometime and see if you don't get converted too :)
