So, Rye suggested we try our hands at wilderness one more time and offered to take us on a "little" hike. Ok, there was nothing little about this hike. It was practically straight up and 14 miles round trip over rocks, streams, boulders, killer squirrels, you name it! But there was a beautiful, gorgeous, breath-taking waterfall at the top that made it all worth it. Sonja took Jonah and Anelise back down after we reached the lake, but the rest of us (Rye, Sophie, Zeb, Meg, me and Mom) made it to the top together....some of us a little more easily than others :) Ok, little tip, DON'T go on a 14 mile "Ryan hike" if you've been too lazy to work-out the last two weeks, k? I learned that one the hard way. Anyway, enjoy the pics---I earned them!
