Winter Garden
Well, Jonah and I are back home now from our Utah trip and busily trying to get back into our routine yet again. Jase had done much while we were gone...one of which was organizing the garden plots and pulling out our old Summer harvest that had stopped producing. Here, in Arizona, you can pretty much garden year-round except for July and perhaps January. So, we've finally finished planting our next round of vegetables/fruits, which are: okra, zucchini, patty-pan squash, cabbage, spinach, swiss chard, basil, oregano, romaine, mixed baby lettuce, beans, peas, cauliflower, broccoli, canteloupe, carrots, and corn--whew! Think we have enough? Some of it has already started coming up after only 1 week---lots of water and 110 deg. temperatures will do that!
