For the past year Ashy has been attending a local private Montessori preschool...not as a student, but doing habilitation with Claudia and Richelle in one of the rooms there. He received some good interaction with the other kids, learned to play on the playground, and learned a lot while there. Also, Ashy was attending the Dysart Early Education Preschool for four months. Above is some of the artwork that he accomplished at both places that I just had to document. Ash is really improving with writing, craft skills, and learning in all areas. He really has a desire to learn, to read, do math, etc. and it shows. The other day his physical therapist, Renee Barrett, commented that he "read" or remembered the phrase "Asher's Choice" from last week--which was the first time he'd ever seen it. He's picking up on sight words too! We're really proud of his accomplishments!
