One of Jonah's favorite books to read is The Story of the World--a history book by Susan Wise Bauer. I catch him with it everywhere...eating at the table, on the couch, in bed, the park, you name it! He just keeps reading it over and over again. Anyway, it comes with this awesome workbook that includes supplementary reading material and activities. Jonah decided to make these war cuffs from Roman times. We were reading about the Huns, I think. You can tell we take school really seriously around here, huh!
