Davin Dameron, Sarah and their two children, Kelvin and Jacob, invited us to go camping with their family on May 29th at the KOA campground in Williams, AZ (NW of Flagstaff). It took us a good 3 hours to get up there, but it was worth it to experience all the pine trees, fun, and wilderness that abounded there. Davin owns a travel trailer and he let us sleep in one of the queen beds. It was SO nice not having to set up a tent :*) The boys had a hay-day swimming and hot-tubbing in the pool house at the facilities--and Jase and I even tried our hand at it. We had fun shooting the breeze in the "sun room" of the trailer, going out for pizza at Pizza Hut down the road, shopping for Smores' materials at the local supermarket, and pigging-out on Smores until late that night. We even had Smores for breakfast! Overall we had a great time...it felt great to get away for a weekend and experience something different than heat, heat, and more heat!
