I took Jonah, Chloe and Ash to the Marley Park splashpad for some hot summer fun. They played forever and when I was about to get heat-stroke I called it :*) I saw a little boy of about 1-1/2 or 2 there as well. He was really hesitant to get wet, wouldn't interact with the other kids, and clung to his mom. It reminded me of how Ash was at his age. And then to see Ash out there running around, playing in the water, and acting so like a typical kid his age made my heart, and my face, smile! It was a good day.
